My Review on Craig Connors Skincare
Cleanser: Cleanser is an oil-based, medium foaming facial cleanser that contains a combination of gentle, toxin-free bio-surfactants, like Apple Amino Acids, to gently wash away dirt, oils, and makeup while maintaining the skin’s pH balance and integrity. Nutrient-rich oils lock in moisture, facilitate the regeneration of new skin cells and are ideal for improving both the texture and tone of the skin.
Personal: At first glance I have to say I was very impressed with CCSC listed “cleanser” ingredients. I think it’s quite the lineup. In their listed ingredients I see they included Neroli oil which seems to be the wave in skincare right now. I can see why, neroli oil helps preserve skins moisture and helps smooth the skin. After using the cleanser I can say, I do feel like it does a good job of cleansing. After pat drying my face it felt a little tight which to me just translates to it being a bit too stripping but what I am going to talk about next I feel makes up for that. Overall I like the cleanser. Smells great too.
Night: Night, the ultimate transformational treatment oil that helps tone, hydrate, nourish and revitalize your skin’s natural balance while you sleep. Wake up to a fresh, radiant face with this innovative nutrient-rich oil. For him and her.
Personal: The first thing I noticed is that their night oil contains “Argania Spinosa (Argan) Kernel Oil” which is a huge selling point for me because I’ve been using pure argan oil for a couple of weeks now and my face is loving it. I was happy to read their “Night” oil included it. I know what you guys are thinking “I cant use an oil on my face?! Ill break out” Nah fam, Argan Oil is perfect to use on all skin type, is relatively lightweight and absorbs quickly to soften and hydrate without clogging pores. It helps regulate the production of sebum (which causes acne), helping to reduce further breakouts. I really love that their night oil also includes vitamin c (helps smooth, minimize discoloration and brighten skin). Overall CCSC “Night” oil is my top pick from their evaluation box.
Day: A pH balanced serum moisturizer helps target fine lines and wrinkles for a smoother, more youthful appearance. It’s packed with concentrated, clinically studied stem cells, cell cultures, botanicals and probiotics designed to quickly absorb, strengthen and firm while promoting cellular turnover.
Personal: I’ve always been a little funny about moisturizers to be honest. I’ve always preferred natural oils but I gave CCSC “Day” moisturizer a try and I can honestly say I loved it. It didn’t feel heavy or sticky which is important because I live in Miami and the humidity here already does enough to clog up your pores. I feel comfortable recommending their moisturizer. I really liked it.
Eye: A pH balanced eye serum works miracles on fine lines, crow’s feet, dark circles, and puffiness.
Personal: Now before I get into this you have to know something. I am really critical of any kind of eye cream because 1. I have sensitive undereyes 2. I have insomnia so dark circles under my eyes are basically a daily thing now 3. I was only sent the evaluation set which was just about a weeks worth of each product and to be honest your cant make much of a difference in a week. NOW I can say the cream goes on smooth, it didn’t irritate my eyes. I noticed that the skin under my eyes seemed a bit more firm when I woke up so that’s a plus. I just wish I was able to use it longer so I could honestly say if it helps with dark circles but for the amount given I think it did a pretty good job.
Overall I give Craig Connors Skincare the #FreshFaceFriday seal of approval.
